Hi there! I’m Casey Davis, owner of Mochi Creative Studio. Why Mochi? There’s no good answer to that other than my boyfriend suggested I call my business something “culinary” and threw the word ‘mochi’ out there and I ran with it. Don’t sue me, Mitchell!
I sprouted into this world in 1996 in southern California, then, two years later, my parents decided to pack us (and everything else) up and scoot up to the Mendocino Coast in northern California. I moved away for two years in 2014, travelled the world and made my way back to the Mendo Coast for good in 2016. I then began working as the front desk receptionist for the Mendocino Coast Chamber of Commerce & Visitor Center… that’s when I landed my first social media management gig with Visit Fort Bragg, CA. From there, it kind of just spiraled… I started managing social for a local cannabis farm, coffee roasting company, therapist/author and four large hotel properties here on the coast. It really took off!
I go down ALL the rabbit-holes to find out new tactics for improved engagement (because there’s no magic potion), tools to increase efficiency and layout post calendars ahead of time and all the new trends that businesses may want to hop on.
